Where to Find Razor Crest in Fortnite (Season 5)

One of the first challenges in Fortnite Season 5 requires players to find the Razor Crest crash site, and here is exactly where the ship is located.

The fifth season of Fortnite Chapter 2 is finally here and it features a crossover with the Disney+ original series The Mandalorian, and one of the additions to the Season 5 map includes a crashed Razor Crest starship. The Razor Crest is the iconic starship from The Mandalorian, but it is in a state of disrepair in Fortnite. One of the first challenges players are tasked with is finding and visiting the Razor Crest in a round of Fortnite.

The Razor Crest isn’t a new POI, but it is a named landmark that is relatively easy to find. That being said, it is a very dangerous location to visit if the player intends to survive for longer than a quick visit. The Razor Crest is home to the Mandalorian mini-boss who is equipped with the Mandalorian sniper rifle and jet pack. No to mention, everyone wants a piece of the Mandalorian making the small crashed spaceship a hot drop almost every match. Against better judgment, here’s where players can find the Razor Crest on Fortnite’s map.

As marked on the map above, players will find the Razor Crest crash site on the mid-eastern side of Fortnite Season 5’s desert area. Simply visiting this location is enough to complete the challenges, but killing The Mandalorian NPC will provide the player with some powerful gear. However, that is easier said than done. The Razor Crest has no nearby loot, so players who land on the Razor Crest will leave empty-handed if they are lucky enough to get away without losing their life.

Luckily, there are plenty of nearby locations that have enough loot for players to put up a fight. There is a small bridge to the west of the Razor Crest that has some floor loot and a chest. The large green bridge to the east had multiple chest spawn locations and floor loot, but the Mandalorian can snip players who land here. Up the hill to the north are a few buildings players can scavenge for weaponry. And the building south of the ship has a pretty decent supply of weapons and other items. Players will have the best luck if they choose to land at one of these locations before heading over to the Razor Crest.
