Fortnite Season 7 Week 4 adds five new Alien Artifacts for players to find and collect. Most of these Artifacts are located on the island’s coasts.
During Week 3 of Fortnite Season 7, players can find five more Alien Artifacts around the map to collect. Alien Artifacts are a new currency in Fortnite Season 7 that allows players to purchase features to customize the Kymera skin. Players can collect Alien Artifacts in the same locations around the Fortnite island in most game modes. They appear as futuristic floating canisters with glowing, pink rocks inside. Each container holds around four Alien Artifacts. They are one-time collectibles, however, meaning players can only claim them once.

The Alien Artifacts added for Week 4 of Fortnite Season 7 are primarily located at named locations on the coastal regions of the map. They are somewhat spread out, however, which would make it difficult for players to collect more than two in a match. In addition to these fixed-location Alien Artifacts, players may also find some bonus Alien Artifacts by opening Cosmic Chests during the week. Here’s how to find all the Week 4 Alien Artifacts in Fortnite Season 7.
Every Week 4 Alien Artifact Location in Fortnite Season 7
Most of the Week 3 Alien Artifacts in Fortnite Season 7 are located at ground level, but there are a few that players may need to build up to reach. They will need to make sure they have enough materials to access these areas. Alien Artifacts during Week 4 are located at the following spots:
- Under a shelf in the middle of Holly Hedges
- Near the rafters of the cabin on the east side of Weeping Woods
- Under the stairs of the warehouse on the furthest east corner of Dirty Docks
- Inside the shed of a house on the northwest corner of Lazy Lake
- Between pipes on the exterior of the building in the center of Steamy Stacks
Alien Artifacts can be collected in almost any game mode, excluding the LTMs added for the Fortnite Cosmic Summer Celebration. During Week 1, it was also possible to collect them in Battle Lab, though it is not clear whether that will still work this week and beyond.
Similar to XP Coins in past seasons, players may want to consider completing the search for Alien Artifacts in Team Rumble Mode, despite its recent changes. Team Rumble Mode grants players enough materials at the start of the match for building up to each Alien Artifact, and players will be able to respawn if they are eliminated while collecting.
Each week of Fortnite Season 7, a random number of Alien Artifacts may also be rewarded when teams open Cosmic Chests. Cosmic Chests will only spawn in Duos, Trios, or Squads and can only be opened by two or more players taking turns hitting the crystal’s weak points. There are only a finite number of these available each week, however. Fans should prioritize collecting the weekly Alien Artifacts before seeking the ones in Cosmic Chests.
Fortnite is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
