Rustic Deco Debuts B2B Wholesale Furniture Site

Rustic Deco has rolled out its new B2B wholesale furniture website, according to a press release.

The site, at rusticdecob2b.com, will provide a company overview, registration instructions and wholesale portal access. It will give users access to Rustic Deco’s lineup of wholesale-priced products, such as the company’s line of vintage industrial furniture and decor, the release stated.

The platform is only for B2B needs, offering tiered discounts for licensed interior decorators, registered interior designers and mom-and-pop stores, according to the release. Dealers will also have access to discounts compared to the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP), along with early access to new designs.

The new B2B site will be comparable to Rustic Deco’s existing eCommerce stores, www.knoxdeco.com and www.rusticdeco.com, in that it will offer an entirely online platform. But a new aspect with the B2B site will be the buyer pre-approval through registration, and it will feature wholesale-centric ordering, tax exclusion, shipping discounts and payment terms, the release stated.

In addition, the new wholesale gateway comes with real-time messaging and online appointment scheduling, along with a navigation feature for the company showroom, according to the release.

PYMNTS reported earlier this month on the new opportunities offered to B2B sellers with the migration to the digital mode of commerce. Boris Lokschin, co-founder and CEO of Spryker, told PYMNTS that the initial reason many companies got into the eCommerce world was for cost-cutting, but a lot of them are now seeing the upsides to the new methods, understanding how they can build new streams of revenue.

Lokschin said some issues include facing a newly transparent market where users can easily compare prices and find their best deals.

And, the companies have to go through the processes of migrating their business online, which can take time. And in addition, the hiring of the right digital talent needs to be taken into account.
