Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is nearly over, with just a few days left to go before the new season begins.
Here is what we know about Season 6.
Season 6 will begin on Tuesday, March 16th.
It will be ushered in by the Season 5 event called the Zero Crisis Finale, which will be mandatory to take part in before players can jump into Season 6.
This indicates that the event will play a major part in the future of Fortnite.
Downtime typically begins at 4am EST/9am GMT and usually lasts for 90 minutes-2 hours.
So players can expect to be back in the game by around 5:30-6am EST/10:30-11am GMT.
Each season comes with a new trailer and Season 6 won’t be any different.
However, it won’t be released until launch day, so for now check out the audio logs that have been released to hype up the new season.
Epic Games stopped doing full patch notes quite a while, instead giving brief patch notes to supported creators.
Instead, the community creates its own patch notes.
Once the new season is out we will update you with everything that has been changed.
Each season comes with a new Battle Pass, giving players over 100 rewards to unlock over the course of the season.
The Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks, with a Battle Bundle costing 2800 V-Bucks which gives players the first 25 levels of rewards.
Players that subscribe to the Crew Pack will receive the Battle Pass as part of their subscription.
With the Zero Point being unstable, we can expect big changes to the Fortnite map in Season 6.
The centre of the map will likely drastically change, likely removing the sand and adding a new central POI.
Season 5 saw Chapter 1 locations blend with Chapter 2 locations, such as Tilted Towers merging with Salty Springs and Greasy Grove with Logjam.
It is possible these will be removed, or we could see more Chapter 1 locations come back.
Season 6 will see lots of weapons vaulted and unvaulted, changing up the loot pool and meta.
We can also expect to see new weapons come to the game too.
It is unclear whether Gold Bars will be staying in the game, so Exotic rarity weapons may disappear.
We will also likely see some weapons like the Heavy Assault Rifle, and some shotguns vaulted with some others returning, such as the Burst Assault Rifle and Pump Shotgun.
With every update comes a bunch of new leaked skins.
This should be the case with the 16.00 update too.
So far we don’t know what will be coming to the game, but there are a few characters we can expect to see.
Batman is expected to play a key role in Season 6, with the Fortnite X Batman Zero Point comic series tying into the season.
Players that purchase the comics will receive new Batman and Harley Quinn cosmetics too.
The Seven look to be returning in Season 6, with the latest audio log (see above) referencing them again.
This will be the first time we have seen them since Season X back in 2019.
So far we have seen three members of The Seven in the game, The Visitor, The Scientist, and The Paradigm.
Could we see the fourth member come to the game in Season 6?
