Fortnite Season 7 is closer than you think and we’re talking about everything there is to talk about. When is it coming out? What’s changing? What about the Battle Pass?
Check all of that out and more below.
Fortnite Season 7 Release Date
We don’t know exactly when the next season of Fortnite is due to begin, but we can look at the current season’s duration to shed some light on when we can expect Fortnite Season 7 to start.
According to Epic Games (a pretty reputable source, right?), the Primal Battle Pass is due to run until June 7th. The in-game Battle Pass screen also mentions that it ends on June 8th.
This all means that the next season should start at some point in the week commencing June 7th. We’re not sure Epic Games would throw out a Fortnite Season on a Monday, but stranger things have happened. It seems more likely that we’ll see Season 7 start on June 10th and the current Battle Pass might get extended a couple of days.
Leaked Cosmetics & Bundles
It’s a clash of the legal titans. The Epic vs Apple court hearing has finally begun and it’s led to a number of possible Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 leaks coming to light.
There’s no guarantee that any of these will make it to the game in Season 7, but they all seem to come from official Epic Games documents being used in the court hearing. That means they’re all pretty legit, right?
Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, J Balvin, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Naruto are all being talked about in the same way that the Neymar collab has been talked about. We obviously know that is a real collaboration so it’s making the others seem pretty surefire.
Collaborative content with the NBA, featuring LeBron James has also been mentioned alongside Catwoman, a “Single Ladies” emote, and Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games.
What’s Going To Be Changing?
It’s currently far too early to tell what exactly is going to be changing. We know that the Zero Point Event was a huge moment in Fortnite’s narrative and we’re expecting this storyline to continue into Season 7.
This means we should expect to see some more changes to Fortnite Island, but as for a theme? We just don’t know. Similarly, we’re not sure what new weapons and equipment we’ll see. Epic Games has a habit of vaulting and unvaulting items throughout each season, so even if something is added or removed… It might not stay that way for long.
For now, all we know is that Agent Jones is working with The Foundation to try and finish up saving the multiverse from the aftermath of the Zero Point Event. Epic Games is known for pushing the boat out, so we really could see anything added to Fortnite in Season 7.
Season 7 Battle Pass Details
It’s a little early to be talking about the specifics of the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass in terms of the content it will include, but we can talk about how much it’ll cost and the basics.
Every season, the Battle Pass will set you back 950 V-Bucks, which can be bought from bundles of 1,000 upwards. There’s going to be at least 100 Tiers of rewards to unlock including Loading Screens, Weapon Wraps, Icons, Emotes and a few Skins too!
If you’re wanting a head start, you can get the Battle Pass Bundle for 2,800 V-Bucks. This will give you the Battle Pass and the first 25 Tiers. You can earn V-Bucks through the current Battle Pass, but if not this will set you back around $19.99 / £15.99.
