Something that’s almost expected from a new Fortnite season at this point is a change to the map. From ripping up entire sections to adding new locations, something always changes.
Possible Season 6 Map Changes
As the first details on the new season say, “The aftermath of this event is sure to shape Reality as we know it.”
Therefore, expect to see quite dramatic changes to the map you’re used to.
Zero Point is going to get more and more unstable and there are theories flying around that the map could be sucked into it and a new one left its place, much like the previous Black Hole Event.
Some Fortnite fans are also speculating the arrival of a new Agency member could spark the group’s return.
Finally, the desert focused area of the map could see a change, especially with Zero Point being so central to it.
Whether it replaces it or blows it up to create something new, we’ll just have to wait and see.
What We Want to See Changed
We’re part of the camp that wants to see a complete overhaul of the Fortnite map in Chapter 2 Season 6.
If the ‘reshaping reality’ statement is true, it’s certainly something that could happen, and would be entirely welcome.

While the Chapter 2 map has been perfectly serviceable since its inception, it would be great to have a new map that takes things a step further.
The return of themes from Chapter 1, or even some of the famous locations, would be great too.
Fortnite has lost some of the wackiness that made it great, and some Chapter 2 Season 6 map changes could bring that back.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 will begin on March 16, with you being able to play the single-player focused event at any time, when you log in for the first time.
We’ll have more on the map once changes are confirmed as part of the Chapter 2 Season 6 patch notes.
