Leaked £109 Xbox One S All-Digital Deal at Tesco May Be the Cheapest Offer in the UK

Xbox One S All Digital Edition Black Friday Deals

Tesco UK may have the Xbox One S doorbuster to beat this Black Friday, with and All-Digital edition for just £109. Not only that, the deal comes with two full games and a bunch of Fortnite stuff.

As reported by hotukdeals, this is a leaked Black Friday discount that will only be available in stores – so stock is likely to be highly limited. It’s also not clear exactly when the deal will go live, though it’s expected to be on Black Friday itself. The option will be billed as a £90 saving from £190 to £109, though reportedly Tesco have offered the console at £179 in the past.

The games included in the bundle are Sea of Thieves and Minecraft. The console will also come with 2000 Fortnite V-Bucks and the Rogue Spider Knight outfit for Fortnite. The outfit comes with two style variants that become available to the player once in-game challenges are completed.

The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition was Xbox’s attempt to draw some energy out of a waning hardware sales market, as everyone begins to anticipate the next generation. The All-Digital edition was already offered at a discount due to the fact that it doesn’t have a disc drive, the idea being that customers might be tempted to pick up the All-Digital along with Xbox Game Pass and never worry about buying physical games (or indeed, spend all of their time playing Sea of Thieves, Minecraft and Fortnite anyway).

Other retailers have been unable to match Tesco’s Xbox One S All Digital Edition offer so far in terms of pure price, but LIDL will chuck in Forza Horizon 3 instead of the Fornite stuff for just £129. GAME UK are unfortunately way off with the same LIDL deal at £229 – considerably above Microsoft’s own Xbox One S All-Digital deal at £199.99 – though the retailer should have more deals turning up in the next couple of days. The best Amazon UK can currently do is a bundle at £199.99 that includes three months of Xbox Game Pass.

It’s worth bearing in mind that retailers still have a couple of days to reveal their slashed prices – after all, this Tesco deal is apparently a leak. It may well be that other UK supermarkets in particular slash this model, appealing as it is to parents potentially buying their young kids their first Xbox. Bundling Minecraft and some Fortnite ephemera is a smart move, as plenty of kids of an impressionable age will surely be drawn to the combination if they’re hoping for an Xbox for Christmas.

In the US, Walmart are expected to offer an Xbox One S All Digital Edition for $149.99 with the exact same offering as Tesco in the UK – Sea of Thieves, the Fortnite gear and currency, and Minecraft. Best Buy are apparently going to offer the exact same deal as Walmart. Amazon US have yet to significantly discount the S All-Digital, remaining at $199.99 with no extras. However the international retailing giant hasn’t yet revealed its full Black Friday line-up – that will turn up in the next 48 hours.
