You may have seen some players running around as the Joker in Fortnite recently. Or maybe as Poison Ivy or a heavily-armored Midas.
And yet, perplexingly, these skins are not—and have never been—available in the Item Shop.
What’s the deal?
All three are part of the Last Laugh Bundle, and—weirdly—two of them are DC skins despite the current season of Fortnite being decidedly Marvel-themed.
This might be why we haven’t seen them in the Item Shop yet. In fact, Epic Games informs us that the Last Laugh Bundle won’t appear in the Item Shop until December, though a specific date has not been given.
It’s possible that Chapter 2, Season 5 of Fortnite will be DC-themed, though it’s a little weird to sell these skins as part of a bundle, rather than as part of the Season 5 Battle Pass, if that’s the case.
And yet, players are still running around in all three of these skins. How is that possible?
Well, it turns out that you can purchase this bundle right now if you want, just not digitally. Epic Games has teamed up with Warner Bros. Games to release a physical edition of the Last Laugh Bundle which you can find at retailers like Best Buy or GameStop.
It’s $30, comes with three skins and 1,000 V-Bucks (worth about $8 in game currency) so it’s not cheap but it’s not really expensive in Fortnite terms, where you can find yourself spending $20 on a single skin easily enough. The bundle also includes Poison Ivy, Midas Red and the Laugh Riot Back Bling, Bad Joke Pickaxe, The Joker’s Revenge Pickaxe, and the Pick a Card Contrail.
If you’re dying to be one of the few players out there currently rocking a Joker skin, this is the only way to do it until December when (hypothetically, at least) Season 5 will kick off.
