Take a look at what to expect in the v12.30 patch notes when the update goes live.
Fortnite v12.30 is slated for tomorrow morning, March 31 at 2:00 AM EST. We don’t have a ton of leaks to draw from, but there are a few expectations for changes that will come.
Here are our best guesses for what v12.30 will hold. Let’s hope that Epic surprise us with some unexpected additions.
Bug fixes are the one part of each update that we can almost guarantee – of course, this wasn’t the case with last week’s content update.
Here are all of the bugs that are currently listed as ‘Fixed in Next Release’ on the Fortnite Community Issues Trello board:
- Spy Games: Stuck on “Select Tech” screen.
- Style selections for certain Locker items not saving.
- Harpoon Gun not catching loot consistently.
- Auto Pick Up not functioning properly.
- Deadpool Plunger not visible on 4:3 aspect ratio.
- (Creative) Billboard Settings do not save when copied.
- (Creative) Interactive UI not functioning properly when using the Quick Menu on mobile.
Yacht Shadow takeover
We don’t know whether Shadow or Ghost will win the battle for Meowscles’ soul, but the past month of challenges suggest that Shadow will take it home, again.
The big question is: what will happen to The Yacht? Will we see a complete Shadow takeover like The Grotto or will it sink; similar to what happened with The Rig?
We won’t know until v12.30 update goes live, but we’ll keep you posted when we find out.
Spy Games update
Most Spy Games players have maxed-out their tech upgrades, which means Epic will need to add more with the v12.30 update.
A new game mode might be entering the game as well, although this is far from a sure thing. Epic could have us playing the same games for two more weeks, but a third option wouldn’t be surprising.
Based on the date circled on Deadpool’s calendar – April 3 – we can expect Deadpool to be coming to Fortnite this week.
We’ll almost certainly have to wait until Friday to unlock Deadpool, but that’s to be expected.
We’ll likely see some new information leaked, however; especially when it comes to the rumored Battle bus takeover that may happen this week. We could even see that when the update goes live.
We don’t have a ton of information as to what’s coming with this update. In the past, we’ve seen some leaked weapons, items, or vehicles that we expect to come in the next update. That’s not the case with v12.30.
There are a few expectations, but we can hope to be surprised. As always, we’ll keep you covered with the unofficial v12.30 patch notes, leaked skins, and everything else that comes out of tomorrow’s update.
