There are seven new challenges players can complete in Fortnite Season 5 week 12, and most of them are as simple as visiting a location and picking up an item. Some challenges require players to interact with other players, but most of them can be completed without even picking up a gun. This guide will tackle the week 12 challenge that requires players to collect a family portrait at a specific shipwreck.

Where To Find The Family Portraits At The Shipwreck In Fornite

Like many other challenges during Season 5 of Fortnite, this challenge requires the player to collect an item when visiting a specific location. The item in question is one of three family portraits that are scattered around one of the game’s many shipwrecks. Luckily, players won’t have to scour the map for the correct wrecked ship as the map above shows the wreck’s exact location. Here there will be three portraits scattered around that players can collect. These portraits are tucked behind rocks or in a bathtub, and players only need to collect one to complete the challenge.

The shipwreck players need to visit is located southeast of Catty Corner in a small oval cove. This cove contains multiple small wrecked ships, and the portraits are placed all along the shoreline. They will have a blue aura around them like many other collection quests from this season, and all the player has to do is press the action button when looking at the portrait. This will reward the player with 20k experience points and get them one step closed to reaching Battle Pass tier 100. Players who haven’t yet maxed out the Battle Pass will want to hurry as Fortnite season 5 is scheduled to end in just a few weeks.
