Fortnite Party Royale event COUNTDOWN: Start time, line-up, venue, live stream | Gaming | Entertainment

Fortnite Party Royale event start time is fast approaching, with fans of the Epic Games hit set to be treated to another in-game live concert. Hot on the heels of the jaw-dropping Fortnite Travis Scott concert – which set record player numbers – the Battle Royale makers are now launching a Party Royale event. Fortnite Party Royale is a new mode which lets players chill out in the world of Durr Burgers and Slurp Juice without the risk of having to battle anyone else.

It’s a fascinating new addition and brings Fortnite one step closer to a Ready Player One-style online community that just a few years ago was the stuff of sci-fi dreams.

And to celebrate this new mode Epic Games are holding a Fortnite Party Royale Premiere event, which will feature live music from some big name acts.

Steve Aoki, deadmau5 and Dillon Francis will all be performing at the upcoming Fortnite Party Royale event.

The start time for the Fortnite Party Royale Premiere is 6pm pacific time and 9pm eastern time on Friday May 8 for those in the States.

If you’re a Fortnite fan in the UK that’s 2am BST on Saturday May 9.

The times for the event were revealed in a blog post by Epic Games which also detailed what Fortnite fans need to know about the Party Royale Premiere.

If you want to take part in the Fortnite Party Royale event then things are slightly different than the recent Travis Scott concert.

With the Astronomical tour Fortnite players had to head to a concert venue at Sweaty Sands to experience the mind-blowing musical journey.

But with the Fortnite Party Royale event you will instead need to select the ‘Party Royale’ playlist in Battle Royale.

From there you will simply need to head to the Main Stage which is where the Fortnite Party Royale Premiere event will be taking place.

Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, and deadmau5 will all be performing back-to-back-to-back sets live on the big screen.

And as an added extra reward anyone who logs into Fortnite from Friday May 8 at 6pm ET to Monday May 11 at 10am ET will get a free bonus.

These players will receive the new, music-reactive Neon Wings Back Bling for free which you can wear to the concert.

If you miss the start of the Fortnite Party Royale event then fret not as you catch the remainder of the show as long as you log in before the finish time.

The Fortnite Party Royale event has a finish time of 7pm pacific time and 10pm eastern time on Friday May 8.

If you’re on BST then that’s 3am on Saturday May 9.

The Fortnite Party Royale event will also have an encore performance on Saturday May 9 from 2pm to 3pm eastern time, which is 7pm till 8pm BST.

And if, for whatever reason, you’re not able to log into Fortnite during the Party Royale event then there should be plenty of people streaming it on Twitch.

Outlining what fans can expect from the Fortnite Party Royale Premiere event Epic Games said: “Let’s get ready to party!

“The Party Royale Premiere arrives on Friday, May 8, at 9 PM ET.

“Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, and deadmau5 are coming to Party Royale with back-to-back-to-back sets LIVE on the big screen at the Main Stage.

“Hit the dance floor, chill with friends, or jump into activities in Party Royale.”

They added: “Shows at the Main Stage are just some of the many attractions at Party Royale.

“In this new experimental and evolving space, there are many things to do and places to explore.

“For example: take on aerial obstacle courses at Skydive Rift, participate in boat races at Fishsticks’ Boat Race, and grab items at The Plaza such as the new Paint Launcher.

“There are no weapons or mats in Party Royale — it’s all about just hanging out and having fun. No Sweat.

“All Chill. Let’s Party!”
