Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Zero Crisis Live Event Explained

The Zero Crisis live event is nearly here, this is what you need to know as Season 5 wraps up.

After a few weeks of speculation, rumors, and leaks, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 has finally received an official announcement. Here’s your guide on all you need to know about the upcoming Zero Crisis live event and everything else to expect from Chapter 2 Season 6.

Despite speculation surrounding a recent leak that had Chapter 2 launching on Monday, March 15, the actual launch date is set for a day later, March 16. This shouldn’t change anyone’s plans too drastically as it’s only a day later, but the official word helps for those waiting on the update.

The Zero Crisis Finale is a solo mission that’s available as soon as you update for Chapter 2. It’s the conclusion to the events of Season 5 following Agent Jones’ mission. If you aren’t able to play it live, or just prefer to watch your favorite streamers do it, Epic Games will have a global premiere for everyone to watch the “most ambitious story cinematic yet.”

This past season of Fortnite saw a lot of Marvel Comics-themed items and characters. Chapter 2 Season 6, has been rumored to feature characters, items, and events from DC Comics. While not confirmed by Epic yet, some Season 6 leaks have convinced a lot of people that DC is the direction their headed.

As Season 5 ends this week, Epic Games reminds everyone to get what they need now, before it all disappears. Exotic weapon prices are sure to spike once the Zero Crisis live event starts so spending your Gold Bars now is wise if there’s something you’ve had your eye on. The Season 5 Battle Pass will also expire next week, so make sure to grab it if you haven’t already.
