Owing to the Nexus War with Galactus, the Fortnite island has gone through some noticeable changes. The Zero Point is exposed yet again, and there is a bunch of new POIs for players to explore.
While Colossal Coliseum, Hunter’s Haven, and Stealthy Stronghold specially cater to the new season’s theme, Salty Towers is the amalgamation of Salty Springs and the classic Tilted Towers.
In a recent video, PlayStationGrenade explored every change in the map and additionally discovered some hidden locations:
Fortnite has its own Jurassic-Park, a hidden bunker, and much more
Stealthy Stronghold, a fortified jungle, is visible on the northern side of the island. The POI currently has empty cages, wooden shacks, and ruined monuments. Underneath the temple ruins, there is a hidden bunker that is a high-tech room with some books.
To say the least, it seems like Fortnite’s own Jurassic Park.
The Mandalorian crashed on the Fortnite island in his vessel. As for now, the vessel is visible near Hunter’s Haven which is a colony for the several hunters in Agent Jonesy’s team. While some buildings in Hunter’s Haven contain unfinished projects, others have Easter eggs like Agent Peely trapped in Carbonite.
Colossal Coliseum has well-designed statues of Fortnite skins that will most probably arrive in the latter part of this season. Interestingly, the structures inside the Coliseum change according to the game mode.
Return of several landmarks from Chapter 1
The latest Fortnite season is a delight for the veterans who’ve been playing the game since Chapter 1. Along with the aforementioned Salty Towers, there are several map updates that will hit them with nostalgia.
The Logjam Factory and Durr Burgers from Chapter 1 have finally returned with some minor changes. While playing solos, players might discover an under-construction Viking Ship in the Colossal Coliseum; however, the iconic Wooden Llama appears in the arena during Team Rumble mode.
These were some of the most noticeable changes discovered in the Fortnite map so far. With further updates, fans can certainly look forward to witnessing the return of more POIs from Chapter 1.
