Fortnite is back to having regular weekly challenge blocks again, at least until we get some big extension at the end of the season like we have for the last two.
The challenges will be live tomorrow morning, back to the usual Thursday schedule, but we already know what they’re going to be thanks to the usual slate of dataminers, and you can see them below so you can start preparing yourself for what’s to come this week:
The Chapter 2, season 3 challenges are:
- Use different Ziplines at The Authority (0/8)
- Search Chests or Ammo Boxes at Holly Hedges (0/7)
- Find Deadpool floaties at The Yacht (0/3)
- Score a goal on the soccer pitch at Pleasant Park (0/1)
- Eliminations at Lazy Lake (0/3)
- Headshot Henchmen at The Fortilla (0/20)
- Gather or Consume Foraged Items at The Orchard (0/5)
So, as you can see we have a lot of new zones here, including the Authority and the Fortilla. But also the Yacht, which is technically an old zone, but after the giant tidal wave, has been transformed into something new. But I guess Deadpool floaties are still around from his party last season.
It is weird to me that we are in Chapter 2, season 3 on an entirely new map and we still somehow have challenges like “score a goal on the pitch at Pleasant Park” which I’m pretty sure is like, a Chapter 1, season 2 challenge. That zone will never die, I guess.
I have not been back to the Orchard since this new season started, but I assume it didn’t move? Actually it’s kind of hard to assume anything with how messed up the map got.
We will also have new Aquaman challenges live tomorrow, well, one challenge. And it is:
- Use a Fishing Pole to ride behind a loot shark at Sweaty Sands
So uh, good luck with that one, and try not to die. There is a small chance that the challenges go live today instead of tomorrow as dataminers seem mixed about it, but I’m about to find that out in a few minutes here. My guess is tomorrow if Epic wants to get back on their usual schedule, but I will update this article if they are live now.
Anyway, see you out there. If the water is going to start receding, I haven’t seen it yet, so we may be on this flooded map for a good chunk of the season.
