Football clubs included, official kits, Pele Cup

The worlds of football and Fortnite have been mixed for quite some time, but now there is an official collaboration.

We all remember Antoine Griezmann’s ‘L Dance’ (known as ‘Take the L’ in-game) celebrations en route to winning the Europa League with Atletico Madrid in 2018, and plenty of footballers including Mesut Ozil have streamed themselves playing the game on Twitch.

Football pitches have also found themselves being put into Fortnite maps with a hittable ball, allowing players to distract themselves with penalty shootouts, crossbar challenges and more – at least until they were caught by the storm or opponents.

However, there is now an extension of the crossover between the world’s most popular sport and one of its biggest games.
