One of FaZe Clan’s youngest Fortnite stars is in even more hot water after cheating allegations surfaced.
Fortnite has had a bad run of late with alleged cheaters. The most infamous incident of recent memory took place during the Chapter 2 Season 2 Fortnite Champion Series. Two separate duos received bans for teaming in week one of the FNCS. The following week, two more players allegedly cheated during week two of the same Fortnite tournament. There are no clear guidelines or rules that point to the ensuing punishment for cheating. In the first case of Bucke, Kreo, Keys and Slackes, all four players received 60-day bans.
The competitive Fortnite team might have their hands full yet again. Footage surfaced earlier today of FaZe Clan’s Danny “Dubs” Walsh teaming during a Solo Cash Cup competition.
Video Evidence of Alleged Cheating

Leafrr on Twitter released the Twitter video evidence of the alleged rule violation. He compiled footage of several instances where Dubs and another player seemed oddly in sync. In the case of the May 1st Platform Cash Cup Finals, Dubs and another player known as waffleslul seemingly worked together in a solo tournament. Both players landed at The Rig in all six games of the Cash Cup Finals.
What transpired varies from coordinated vault looting, double-teaming against a solo player and failing to engage in a single one-on-one fight with each other. Leafrr did a great job of providing context for the footage. Overall, the video evidence is damming, and Fortnite’s rules officials will undoubtedly need to review what took place.
Martin “MrSavage” Foss Andersen chimed in with a response to the video, stating that the last clip is the most outrageous of them all.
that last clip sealed the case lol

The Actual Rule Break
According to the Chapter 2 Season 2 Official Rules, Dubs and waffleslul could technically have violated several rules. Section 8.2.2 states:
“Players may not work together to deceive or otherwise cheat other players during any match (“Collusion”). Examples of Collusion include the following:
Teaming: Players working together during the match while on opposing teams.
Planned Movement: Agreement between 2 or more opposing players to land at specific locations or to move through the map in a planned way before the match begins.
Communication: Sending or receiving signals (both verbal and non-verbal) to communicate with opposing players.
Item Dumping: Intentionally dropping items for an opposing player to collect.”
The teaming aspect comes from Dubs and waffleslul coordinating an attack on the solo player during one of their six matches. Both players appear to have some semblance of planned movement and a loot path. Although difficult to prove, Leafrr’s video stated that both players are a part of the same Discord group. Again, many of these violations are circumstantial, but the teaming aspect is the most prominent upon video review. With the FNCS Invitational now in full swing, both players could be in jeopardy of receiving bans, which would disallow them from participating.
Another Unfortunate Incident for Dubs
why would dubs risk this after all the controversy he has been in i dont get it. this is def teaming

European player Fray asked what most of us are wondering after watching the video. Dubs’ Fortnite career has seen better days after FaZe Clan handed him a suspension for using a racial slur on a Twitch stream. FaZe Clan forced sensitivity training upon him, and, as a result, Dubs came out with an apology. Mere weeks later, this video footage surfaces, which could very well lead to a ban from future Fortnite competitions.
The four players from the week one FNCS incident received 60-day bans. Fortnite’s competitive team may follow suit in the case of Dubs. However, there is no rhyme or reason to how they hand out punishments. For the six-time Fortnite World Cup qualifier, Dubs will undoubtedly be in some hot water as a result of the footage. We will have to wait and see how Epic Games handles the alleged transgression.
