Intel focuses its presentation only on the gaming segment and claims its new 8-core/16-thread CPU will outperform AMD’s 12-core / 24-thread processor when it comes to gaming by showing that through various benchmarks at 1080p resolutions with max graphics. The average of these 7 games analyzed indicates the i9-11900K would be 4.4% in the gaming compared to AMD’s Ryzen 9 5900X.
Interesting to see is a mentioned 14% uplift in perf for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. The average of the four games reviewed gives us 11% more performance with the i9-11900K compared to the 10900K. Lastly, a slide was also leaked that shows in detail the specifications of the entire new family of 11th Generation Intel Core processors, which will become available March 30 .
