Even though Season 6 of Chapter 2 has only recently begun, Epic Games clearly enjoys keeping Fortnite fresh with content. Not only was the brand new Recycler weapon added just last week, but there’s now even more for players to jump into with the v16.20 update.
Fortnite v16.20 Server Downtime Schedule
Below you will find the full server downtime schedule for the Fortnite update released on April 13.
11PM PT / 2AM ET / 7AM BST
UPDATE: Downtime has officially ended, you can now jump back into Fortnite.
There’s currently no official time for when server downtime will end, but Fortnite has stated that downtime will be longer than usual. Expect the downtime to last anywhere between 2 and 4 hours.

Fortnite v16.20 – What’s New?
You can read more about what’s new in the official patch notes, but Fortnite did release a brief summary of the update which can be found below.
- Trick out your ride with new wheels
- Sharpen those bow skills and focus up for a special Duos Cup
- 50-player matchmaking in Creative
The official Fortnite Status Twitter Account also made note of the following details for the v16.20 update on April 13.
- Downtime will be starting earlier than normal
- This downtime will be of a longer duration than normal
- The patch will be released for download a few hours into downtime
