Here’s the Fortnite chapter 2 season 3 challenge and reward for Aquaman.
Epic Games have collaborated with DC to bring an Aquaman skin to Fortnite chapter 2 season 2. Similar to the Deadpool skin last season, players need to complete a challenge in order to unlock the skin along with other cosmetics including the Trident Pickaxe.
The first Aquaman challenge was released when the season 3 launched a week ago, however, the second challenge will go live tomorrow, Thursday 25th June. The week 1 Aquaman challenge requires players to use a whirlpool at the Fortilla. If you still need to complete the challenge, you can take a look at our dedicated guide over here.
Upon completing the week 1 challenge, players were rewarded with the loading screen below:
Thanks to data-miners, the week 2 Aquaman challenge and reward have been leaked ahead of time.
Week 2 Aquaman Challenge
The week 1 Aquaman challenge requires players to use a Fishing Pole to ride behind a Loot Shark at Sweaty Sharks.
Loot Sharks were added at the start of season 3 and are deadly if you get too close to them. If you have a fishing pole, you can cast it out in order to get the shark to bite. If they do, you can ride the Loot Shark and guide them to eating epic or legendary loot to give the shark a glow.
The challenge shouldn’t be too hard to complete, but a challenge from week 1 required players to deal damage to loot sharks and players found it difficult to find the sharks at Sweaty Sands.
The cosmetic reward for completing the week 2 challenge is the Trident! spray.
Players will have to wait until week 3 to start unlocking the better rewards from the Aquaman Fortnite set.
Next week, you’ll be able to unlock the Trident Pickaxe with week 4 and week 5 providing the Supreme Shell back bling and 35,000 XP. Complete all the challenge once the week 5 challenge is released and you’ll unlock the Aquaman Fortnite skin.
